did a win bios flash that went bad...but I got it fixed

Post by nexus_7 »

Just a story.

Anyways. new bios came out for my nf7-s and I wanted it cause it fixed a few thigns I was working with. anyways I have used abits windows update a few tiems and it has worked great. did it this time and the program hung 9not responding in device manager) after the bios was flashed.

Restarted, bios/PC showed up so I went in the bios and changed what I change and restarted. Great, pc is up and running, findes my cdroms, then my sata drives, then nothing. tried a few things and windows would just not load. I mean right after the sata screen the monitor would go blank and that was that.

So I had to find a floppy drive and do the bios update in dos. that fixed it all.

What a waist of time.

Greg :D
