Welp, my Handspring just crapped out so it's time to look for another (Damnit I lost EVERYTHING on it and I forgot to backup the old data from the previous PC install).
I'm leaning toards the Tungsten T (T2 is too expensive and there isn't that big a difference in speed when it comes to PDAs). However, I am also very interested in PocketPC 2003 since I used to have the first iPaqs. Any recommendations for ones under $300? preferrably closer to $200?

I for my self cant help you, I use a Sony Clie 70NR. I like it, but there is some things that i dont.
Mainly it only has 16MB of memory and adding a memory card doesnt do much good, because all what you can use that card for is basicly for music or pictures. Most of the extra programs want run on the card.

All the best from the west!

I ended up ordering the e355, it's got the latest pocketpc 2003 OS and is extremely thin (about the thickness of a cd jewel case).. no wireless but i'm ok w/ that... there's been so many mixed reports on whether it has a SDIO port that there's no way to tell until i actually get it

I just traded in my Palm V for a Sony Clie NX60....
Personally if you are interested in using the device as a PDA and not a Computer...then I suggest sticking with the Palm OS. It is much better for a "Day Runner" / business type situation.
I am happy with the Clie NX60. Cant live without my PDA

I've been through PalmOS, WinCE, and PPC2000... Since I use Outlook PPC is a better fit for me. I know there is software out there to help w/ conversion to Palm's stuff but I've always had slight discrepancies. I miss PPC and I'd like to try that again.
The unit should arrive in a week or so. We'll see how it goes

Whoa freaky
My Handspring works again after I hit the reset. I guess the battery drain was too much so it required a full recharge and reset... oh well I guess I'll have to sell it now
