I remember the first Red Alert completly wiping out my summer in '97....and now the second one is even better... ;)

After playing Red Alert 2 for several hours....I want more!...sure its not innovative...but who cares? I (here's where I'm sure to attract massive flamage =P ) haven't looked back at Starcraft to this day...

Anyone else feel the same? or differently? or nothing at all....?

Bored me within a couple of hours, a complete lack of innovation; it's RA with slightly better graphics and different movies. If your looking for RTS Sacrifice is much better and more interesting and I'd only give that about 70%.

When it came out both CC and Starcraft were great games but this area desperatly needs fresh ideas and concepts not just variations on a theme. Sacrifice is a good idea but still needs more work to be manageable IMHO.

I agree w/Darkheart. My favorite rts's were Total Annihilation, Warcraft 2, and Starcraft. I haven't finished an rts since those (played Tiberian Sun and AOE 2 for a bit but they got stale fast), they are all the same and bore me now.

I tried the Sacrifice demo, it was OK, but I'm not getting it, I'd rather play Counterstrike or some other FPS or RPG...

Don't even mention tiberian sun, I didn't finish the first level of it, AOE2 got boring fast too. Now that I got RA2, I am already half way through and I have only had it for a few days. I just wish that there was map editor for it.

Heh, it's good stuff man...A map editor would be cool though....Playing a lightning game with 3 people.......sending a Tanya/Spy combo to each base...and watching the fireworks....<memories>..hehe....
