Choosing RAM...

Post by Sean »

I can get two 512mb sticks of GeIL for, I think, $260+shipping.

Prices for ram are rising, am I right? Or should I just get 2 Corsair PC3200's?

Also, theres a topic over at AMDMB selling TwinMOS PC3200, $115 a stick (512mb). I was told those reach over 200 FSB, at CAS 2, when they're rated at Cas 2.5.

I'm thinkin I'll jsut get one 512mb stick of Corsair PC3200LLPT. Will ram prices be this low again? Is there anywhere that has a graph showing the fluctuations, so I can figure out of there's a pattern?

Thanks!

I can get some spectek samsung chipped pc 2700 for about $60 eatch. $123 for two, shipped, including cal's 7% tax. I never bought from the reseller, but it checks out ok with http://www.resellerrating.com - a 7.84 i think was it's rating. excelent deal, even if the ram isn't that great.

Could anyone tell me the outlook of ram prices, or point me somewhere that does?

I need to figure out if I'm going to buy TwinX PC3200LLPT (1GB) Corsair for $295 shipped or if I just get one sticks, $152, and get another down the road...
