I guess you want to know where the codecs are ... most likely in "c:\windows\system32" or "c:\winnt\system32".

You never just copy the codec files. All codecs have an installer.

I assume you need a Divx codec. The 3.11 Alpha Divx codec is free. Go here: http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divxcodec.html
