Live Drive questions...

I've got an X-Gamer non 5.1 card... Can i use a Live Drive with this? And do they have Black Live drives that mount internally? I think the white oen would look tacky in my black system.

I'm positive. At one time, I had a live platinum (original) and my friend had an MP3+. I was lookin' at both cards and noticed they looked a <b>lot</b> alike. I checked the model numbers and they were the exact same card. Only thing the platium had over it was the live drive! and some software....

...so yeah, should you be able to get ahold of just the live drive, you should be able to use it. Dunno about the live drive II though. Dunno if they have a black one for a drive bay, but you can always get some vinyl dye and paint it (it "burns" into the plastic and leaves an execellent, OEM like look). The cards are all identical EXCEPT that the Gamer-X version has a different BIOS that doesn't include the hardware MP3 encoder. Electrically all 3 boards are the same and you can connect a Live drive to any of them.
