White dust in AX7?

Post by Sean »

Hmm, I just realized that it sort of looks like cocaine.. (no, never seen it in real life) :P

It came in from KDComputers on Tuesday (shipped on Monday). VERY sweet!

But, now to the pictures. Should I just wipe that stuff away? Could it be there from the manufacturing process?

Four pictures, I tried a negtive. The dust is in the middle and the left side.

So, what does everyone think? :)

some hot water and a toothrush ought to do the trick

might be roach powder or something so i wouldn't "test" it

They must have sent you a refurb that had been returned by Marion Barry. :p

The one sent me had the same thing but I assumed it was something that accidently spilled on it when being made so I never mentioned it.

Since though I've heard more mention this so obviously it must be something in their manufacturing process causing this. Doesn't do any harm but of course it doesn't look good. I just used alchohol and a napkin to remove it.

But what is it. Alien eggs perhaps?
