Looking for a good monitor

Post by poop »

The wife's monitor is dying, and she needs a new one. 17" is definitely a minimum. 19" would be nice, if the price fits the budget.

I basically want to get her a monitor so she can work on her book all day without going cross-eyed. Not spending too much dough is also a good thing, so monitor suggestions from B&M's would be nice. I really don't know anything about monitors, other than I am partial to Sony Trinitrons. It has been so long since I have bought a monitor, I don't even know much about the different brands.

I am looking to spend <$300. Suggestions?

I just put a guy onto one of these for a system build I did for him and it looks really nice running on Radeon 7500.
