Alright

so i have it loaded up now. I've had win2k before but this is the first time i haven't dual booted.

First problem... it takes 5 mins to get threw the 2nd start up screen.

Second problem... my computer doesn't see my scsi drives on start up *cdrw and zip*... i have to search for them and then it picks them up....

Any idea what to do?

if your TCP/IP is configured for DHCP (but you don't have a DHCP server, etc) the boot time will take forever. :(

hummmmmm

well nothing changed... I think i'm gonna try and move the scsi card to a diff pci slot....

IP address
DHCP enabled

WINS
Use Netbios setting from the DHCP server

should i disable it? or enable over tcp/ip?
It's for my cable modem...

my other connection has it set for enable over tcp/ip
that's for my home network

I swapped one of my nics and the scsi card and now boot time is down to about a minute :)

Only problem i still see is that it takes alittle while to access the other computer on the network
