When editing a pic,(with paint), how or what do I do to make backgrounds transparent? I have cut and copied pics for HTML use, but they still appear with a white box around em'.
You can't.
Transparent web pics are usually in .gif format which Ms Paint does not support.
Though, there is plenty of freeware plain and simple graphic editors out there which do.
Just stop by your local freeware/shareware site.
