Itunes not working
Itunes not working
Ok guys I dont know what the deal is with Itunes lately but it just wont work. A few months ago it worked perfect. Then all of a sudden for no reason it wont open and tells me i need to install quicktime. Quicktime is installed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both probably 20-30 times in the past few months to no avail. What is the freaking deal here? The only reason I need it is for my ipod. Ive tried using media monkey and I can sync the ipod with it but it never works right. It will duplicate songs and remove songs or something all the time. I want my itunes back! Any idea? Running win7 64bit

Uninstall ALL iTunes related apps including:
# iTunes Software
# Quicktime
# Apple Software Update
# Apple Mobile Support
# Bonjour (especially Bonjour, the most problematic and most difficult component to remove properly! )
# Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
If your are running a 64bit OS try using the 64 bit version of iTunes. If you used the 64 bit version before try the 32 bit version instead. Either should work in a 64bit OS: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

FP ive tried that numerous times already. Thats what has me so stumped. Its enough to make you pull your hair out and it really makes no sense.

I once had problems with iTunes on one of my laptops after an iTunes upgrade and things like what FP listed fixed it but I googled the subject, TONS of stuff:
