if your interested there is an add on called xmarks it stores your bookmarks in an online account and if running multiple computers adds or deletes bookmarks on all machines if you change them. just a quick FREE account sign up and your in business.

Personally I use a program called MozBackup as it will save everything that I have put / saved on Firefox to a file and then I can just load the program onto another puter and restore that saved file and I then have an exact copy of my original Firefox; all addons, bookmarks, changes, etc. etc.
Very nice program imo.

You can also just copy the entire profile folder which will bring everything over (bookmarks, addons, passwords, history, etc):
For XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\%User name%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
For Vista, Win7:
C:\Users\%User name%\AppData\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
