http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... /xpsp2.exe

I'm downloading it now but it claims 12 hours or so on this work connection :(

Anyone got this on a faster connection? I'll let it just download, I hope I don't have to reboot any time soon :(

Really. I don't understand why anyone would want to screw around with a non-final release of something that so radically modifies your OS.

Since it's expected that SP2 will break some apps I'm in no hurry to install it even when it's final.

Hope you all chose the "Save uninstall information" option so you can uninstall the beast if you have to... or at least Ghost your boot & OS partitions.

Everyone raves about the pop-up stopper. There's plenty of pop-up stoppers out there (actually, do yourself a favor and ditch IE for Mozilla). That alone is not a good enough reason to install a non-final version of SP2 IMO.

Wow, 273mb download!

Do they know that some people can only get 56k?

Its like Bell & Rogers sending me all the info on upgrading to high speed then telling me they dont offer the service in my area :mad
