i can tell you this daman - i tryed loading it on wifes rig - and i forgot i had a ripped copy of xp on her machine and it warned me that my copy of xp -was a hacked copy and to get with ms it wouldnt let me go any farther !

i just loaded a legal copy of xp on wifes then reloaded the sp2 patch - it is very stable from the little bit of time and test i have done with it !

Really. I don't understand why anyone would want to screw around with a non-final release of something that so radically modifies your OS.
Since it's expected that SP2 will break some apps I'm in no hurry to install it even when it's final.
Hope you all chose the "Save uninstall information" option so you can uninstall the beast if you have to... or at least Ghost your boot & OS partitions.
Everyone raves about the pop-up stopper. There's plenty of pop-up stoppers out there (actually, do yourself a favor and ditch IE for Mozilla). That alone is not a good enough reason to install a non-final version of SP2 IMO.
