Isn't the stupid XP Repair feature suppose to FIX everything??

Post by Sean »

DAMMIT!

Ok, well, I had installed InCD and kept getting SCSIPORT.DLL errors. I assumed it was because I had SATA enabled (but disabled when I installed windows). Sure, disabling is woulda been great, but I thought running a repair would be great.

So I did. YAY! it fixed my InCD errors, but now I have a bigger one: (this appears when I right click on "My Computer"- pressing OK gets past it fine, but who knows what else is wrong, right? AND IT IS ANNOYING!)

TELL ME this is frickin fixable!! I wanted to have this done and over with by Tuesday morning, so I could have my computer settled into my room. Then this fucking errors decides to appear.

Sure, I can back everything up AGAIN and reload windows. BUT, i just spent all of today installing most of my programs, and I wanted to spend tomorrow cleaning up my room... :mad

FP, tell me there's a fix!! :mad :mad :mad :| :| :| :|

Edit: To be honest, I got a similar error on my old install when I ran a repair, but thought nothing of it as I was going to reformat and reinstall soon after anyway.

Google is your friend :)
Christians warn us about the anti-christ for 2,000 years, and when he shows up, they buy a bible from him.
