Problem w/ this site and XP

Post by jmebonner »

AS you can see, my first post...

I can't hardly stand to navigate this site at all. Everytime I do something to take me to a different page I get this:

A runtime error ha occured.
Do you wish to debug?
Line:5
Error: 'ie' is undefined

Then I can choose whether or not I want to debug. Problem is, even if I wanted to debug, I have no idea how to do it ....

gimme a hand here, wouldya?

WELCOME!

Are you talking about THIS site (PCAbusers)? Any specific page?

Many web pages on the Internet have java errors on them - they still work. Problem is that you have debugging and error reporting enabled which you definately don't want or it'll annoy the heck out of you.

Only time you EVER want them enabled is if you're a web designer and you're testing a page.

In IE bring down the Tools menu, select Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab. Put a checkmark on "Disable Script Debugging". Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error".

If you still have a problem let us know. You may have a bad Java engine install.
