Dang man, how did you get such a low temperature? I'm running a tbird 900 and it's running at 120 F when it's only in WINDOWS! any advice on what fans to buy? I already have a heatsink/fan combo on my processor, and a chassis fan and power fan running, though they're not spinning very fast. The sad thing is that I'm running it in a room with no AC in the summer.... I have to find a way to cool this baby down... my games are crashing..... :(

Thanx for all the help u guys,
Mike

Case is 27C (81F), cold night tonight, CPU temp idle is 37C (99F) and under full load I get 42C (108F), running RC5.
CPU is a 1200 tbird running 1500@1.85V and this baby is watercooled.

okay, update on mine, 1.33 at 1.5 gig. Loaded running 122 F now at 1.92 V. System temp is 73. Ambient temp is around 73 also. It will go up to around 124 daytime temp.

Gemini, ambient "air" temps are really gonna effect everything. You can't do much to cool hot air. Get as much air flow through the case as your ears can stand. That and a good Tbird cooler like an SK6 or top rated Taisol, something like that. Also the best heat sink compound is Arctic Silver, can make a difference.

good luck,

Well, NF, I bumped it up while I was trying to see how far I could push it, just too lazy so far to go back in and try backing it off again. :) Only dang problem with these jumper boards, but then again, I think it makes it a bit more stable then bios changes. I hit 1600, with 2.02 but I don't like those temps. Better cooling should even things out. Hey, chips are different, you got a really good one, mine may be just so, so.

I just changed mine in the bios. Went from 149FSB to 150FSB. Still hanging at the default voltage. I also installed a 400watt PS today. :D
