2500 @ 3200 speeds... 190 FSB and voltage slightly hot. Using a sp97 and a quiet slow fan and under full load with room temp at 82.6 its running at 116.4

2100+(1.73Ghz) @ 2200+(1.9Ghz). cooling = AK795 (stock 3000+ fan+heatsink) FSB = 144 with +3v.

i know. the properties in windows xp reported a 1.9Ghz speed but the proccessor as a 2200+.

p.s

anyone know how to mod a AK795 heatsink so that it can hold a 80mm fan?

xp2500+ @ 3200+, sp97 with 92mm tornado. Fan controlled by a fan controller, naturally. It can go higher, 12x206. But, fan has to be too loud. Runs at 11.5x200 just fine, but for summer I'll keep it at 11x200. I prefer peace and quiet.

Yep. Too bad they locked newer ones. But from what I've seen, most will still do 11x200, 11x190 at the very least. Still not shabby at all.

Ditto.. :)

As blade mentioned they're locking the new ones. I have one of each. A Locked and Unlocked. My Unlocked is on an Epox 8RDA+ (This is my favorite board I have had 0 problems with it since I got it) running at 11.5x200 w/SLK-900A Runs at 49* C Under full load. Only because I keep the fan turned down. ;)

My Locked is running on a Chaintech 7JNL1? Or somethin' like that.. ;) heh.. It's running at 11x205 w/no problems at all. It's got an SLK-800 and runs a little warmer than this one, couple of degrees me thinks. But in the near future I'll be swapping the processors in the boards to run the unlocked in a watercooling rig and really see what it can do. :)

2600+ barton running at 2.228 says wcpuclk. 194x11.5, ZALMAN copper/aluminum running at full speed, temp runs 43c, also a locked processor. I left my voltage set to auto in my bios, 1.61 says my soyo hardware monitor software.

Running a 2000+ at 12.5 x 166Mhz (2.1Ghz). XP reports this as a 2600+ even thouch its closer to a 3000+. Just running the retail HSF. I know it could go higher, but my RAM starts to flake out at higher FSBs. Maybe someday I'll put some faster RAM in their and buy a better HSF, but doesn't Doc say you need a 30% increase in CPU speed to "feel" a difference in the system? I doubt I'll be able to squeeze 2.7Ghz out of a 1.6Ghz stock CPU. ;)

mobile 2400+ @ 2.50= 500fsb on water- have toasted this chip up to 2.7, but i dont like to send as much voltage as that takes- never hits over 36 degrees
