Having a bios or cmos problem with my SY-V6BE+ and cant get much help from soyo. They only have a distributor up here in Canada and they'll fix it for money but wont touch the guarantee for rma as I never bought off them. I got it used off the forum in the USA. I emailed support in the USA twice with no reply so sent messages to Taiwan today and hope to hear. It was manufactured 01/99 so have to hurry to get approved RMA for the 2 year if this wont cost me.
Anyone else have any tips on how to get their attention? Who do you email?

if you find out anything in our lifetime, let us know, cause I never had any luck with them either. Soyo had a shot at being great for overclockers and tweakers, but their "support" is non-existant, it seems. I know, I gave up on them a long time ago.

good luck,

Still haven't had a response

I can send it for repairs to the canadian distributor who say they can fix it for 30usd or shelve it. Irritating as it works fine, only have to set bios on boot up. Dont know what to do but I'll avoid them like the plague from now on.

soyo fits into the same catagory as abit when it comes to support. they're great when they work, but look out if they don't.

This is the number 1 reason I stick to Asus and Gigabyte :)
