U da goat !! :D

I have an xpm24+. same stepping that I'll be putting together tomorow nite on a Shuttle an35n-U for a guy at work. :) Only have BuffaloWinbond pc3200 CH-5 for it tho. So 210-220fsb will probably be the max on that end.

I wasn't home much today even tho I was off. ugh :mad . I'll be around tomorrow nite after 830p. Do you have ICQueer? My number is 149068312

Yup, theyre pretty much "hand-picked" AXP's because they are made to run at a much lower voltage than normally. Thus, they overclock like nothing else, besides maybe a 2.4c M0 p4 of course ;)
Welcome to the machine.

What kind of mem voltage options does that AL have? Reason I ask is because that BH-5 can literally take up to 3.3v as long as you keep some air on it.

I just finished loading in windows at 10x200 on this Shuttle an35n-ultra/xpm2400+ based rig. 1 x 512 Buffalo CH-5. I just rebooted it at 11x200fsb/ 1.6v on the cpu ( 2.2 GHz ) and started prime95 for an overnite session. :) This is a build for a guy so I'm not gonna go nutz on it. Well maybe a little before he picks it up. :)

You should bring that thing down here tomorrow nite and we'll try it w/ some BH-5 and see what it'll do. :D

What voltage you at at 2.4 GHz?

I've got this one running 12x200 this morning here @ 1.72v. Ran prime all nite (10 hours, no errors) at 2.2 GHz 11x200 at 1.6v !! . How sweet is that? I just ordered 2 more . LOL

I dont know about true voltages yet as Im having the memory instability problems- but last night I was running at 2200 on 1.65 :) so I think 2400 @ 1.7-1.75 is very attainable- Damn board undervolts though- gotta set it to 1.7 in bios to get 1.65 :( Oh well I guess its better then all the cold boot issues some Have With DFI- None of those here

Nope- you need a board where you can maually controll the multiplier- because the cpus are "factory Unlocked" - If your board cant be multi changed then you will be stuck at default for unknown cpu 6x100
600mhz yuck

The Mobiles will remain unlocked because they are designed to be put in laptops- and need to be unlocked to accomadate the thermal thottleing scheme. How long AMD will keep them availible to consumers- and how high future models will overclock is anyones guess
