I bought these from Augix . What is the difference between the 2 ? Why is one green and one brown ?

It's not unusual for the cpu's to be different colors. Sometimes the retails are one color and the OEM's another. Check to see if they were made at the same plant. Should say Made in Malaysia or something on them. Maybe one plant has green , the other brown. It's no biggie tho.....

AIUHB = same stepping

02 = the year it was made
50 = the week of that year.

If you're looking to run SMP ( dual cpu ) you shouldn't have any problem with those.

I've purchase retail CPU's in both brown and green, the OEM's I've purchased have all been brown.

btw I think that the brown I bought is oem version and the green one retail . I dont know if that help. :)
