I just got my Shuttle AN35N Ultra , Barton 2500 combo installed . I am running a single 512MB stick Corsair XMS PC3200 , Win XP .

When I change the FSB to 200 , when it starts booting up , it just keeps restarting . Any suggestions ?

TIA

Update , it's up and running now , after I changed the voltage to 1.725 . Is this voltage ok ?

That voltage should be ok just keep an eye on the temps. When I first got my 2500 I ran it at that voltage but after a few month I was able to lower it and keep the chip stable.

I run mine at 1.7, so 1.725 should be no problem. Some go as high as 1.8.

let it run at that temp for a couple of weeks, assuming that the temps are in the ballpark, then try going down one click on the voltage

also, be aware that the mobo gets very hot - a lot of us have put extra fans in the case blowing across the motherboard and seen a 3-5 degree cool-off

I am running Motherboard Monitor and it shows the cpu temp @ ~ 32C

that is a most excellent temp - mine runs closer to 50 but i have a small fan on the hs

iduno.. i had mine at 200x11 with a .75 voltage andit would work fine and fold... but would some times hard lock... and then when i went to do anything 3d all the fans and HD would shut off... but the power led would still be on... and reset did nothing. so i then backed it all down to stock... temps were never the issue. im thinking its memeory timings... i have XMS ram so its good to go. but i dont know what a decent timing setting should be for a 200 fsb.

hehe , glad I'm not the only one . I didn't want to say my case was open even before I decided to upgrade :o

Sides??
I thought they were just being nice and sending me a flat piece of steel panel to fix the leak in my roof :D

We should do a poll!
I think I will :)
