Dont make the same mistake as me this cooler is nice i admit it but a canterwood northbridge doesnt get very hot in the first place. this cooler only lowered me 1 degree at idle and 2 degrees at load. ABIT IC7-G max2 NB cooler is good enough.

On the posative side ive got an old 845 chipset with a northbridge that gets really really hot so im going to pop it on that and see what it can do.

Yah, your right it's a no good cooler....... It's an exceptionally great cooler ;)

Here's mine with a 10,500rpm counter-rotating JMC fan (It runs at a silent 6volts 6000rpm) The 6cfm Sunon fan Swiftech provides does a great job, just a counter rotating fan does a better job)

How are you measuring temp? I measure mine with a digital doc probe that is inside the mcx159's base itself. It's borred out, probe installed and filled with Arctic Silver Adhesive within 2mm of the Northbridge's die.
