Crank that baby up man. I had an A core Tbred 1700+ doing 1800Mhz on my 8RDA+ and now have a 2500+ Barton doing 2250 Mhz. Wish I would have had the cash to buy some PC3200 instead of the PC 2700 I have now because that is what is holding back I think.

Seem to have hit a wall at 1.96ghz with this PC2700. I may fool around with some of the settings tonight, some of these settings are completely new to me and I'm still trying ti figure out what they all do. Anybody got any pointers lol.. I may make a walkthrough for OC'in' w/an 8RDA+ if I get bored tonight.. lol.. eGo

I have mine running at 12.5x180 = 2250Mhz. That is with 2x512 sticks of Kingston HyperX PC2700 with all the ram settings at their most aggressive. Once you get your FSB maxed out try upping the multiplier to see if it will go higher, mine did. I still might be able to get a little more not real sure tho. It is running a little warm here with the hot summer we are having maybe when the weather cools off I will be able to ring a little more out of it but at 2250Mhz this thing is plenty fast.

Dude this is PC Abusers it is what we do!!!! I have no doubt your friends computer caught fire but I do have my doubts that it was solely from being over clocked.

ego - try ~13.5x172
that was my best oc on a 2100+ - i was memory limited at 172 by pc 2700
200+ is nice but not required for a good oc
i am running my barton 2500 @13 x 172, mostly because i want a very quiet rig and have a low rpm fan on the cpu

Ive got the 2500 Barton up to 2264 11.5 X 196 so far its stable and been upping it a click every couple days its running pretty cool so far 39C (102 F) on the old 8RDA, hopefully when you get your new memory you will get alot more out of it . GOOD LUCK !! I love my Epox its been a great board so far for me , I just picked up an Asus A7N8X to Mate with my 2100XP in my #2 rig so I can move the Soyo K7VTA and the 1200 t-bird to the #3 rig I think the only thing I am Lacking is some 2700 or 3200 memory for the Asus ,hopefully I will have good luck with the Asus I've never used asus boards before

Ok Guys.. I set the Multi to 12x180 and it wouldn't boot all the way.. So I stepped the VCore up to 1.65 and it booted into windows, but crashed shortly thereafter.. What's a safe VCore? Any suggestions? TIA eGo
