My First overclock

Post by brainz2002 »

Well I did it woohoo :D . My 2400xp thouroughbred is now running at 2100mhz and shows as a 2600xp on startup. It is running at 45c(according to motherboard monitor). I have a gigabyte 7vaxp mobo with 1gb of corsair pc2700 xms memory. My current fsb of cpu is 140.

Ne ideas how high i can go with stock cooling. I havent altered any voltages yet. Have a oretty good air cooling rig (thermaltake xaser 3 v1000c).

ne suggestions?

Sounds pretty good there.

I should get off my butt and push my xp1700 farther, got it showing as a xp2000 which isn't really pushing it yet.

Is there a link here exactly what folding is all about? What it does, how to get the data chunks, ect...

I might give it a shot before long.
