My New Thread - the 7DXR and 2100+B

What an AMAZING match, eh? You know what's cool about this? I get to figure out the best configuration with a locked multiplyer. And, since I obviously can't get to 200 FSB on this, i get to boost my ram timings to amazing stats! :D

Here's what I got so far:

155 FSB X 13 (the locked multiplyer) - 2015 MHz. yes, that's right, I got this board to 2 GHz!! :D
The above is using 1.7v. For some reason, I couldn't post right after making the settings, but, I could if i shut it off and turned it back on. For stability reasons, I'm going to test it at 1.7v. if it handles well, I think I'll give 1.675 a shot.

I got this to post at 175 FSB, but, it just wouldn't reboot (and, i don't feel like raising the voltage past 1.75v). It isn't worth the extra 100mhz on this board.

I'll see how it handles at this, I may or may not try a higher FSB.

Right now, I'm running Memtest86, i have passed 3 tests so far without any errors. I don't think my ram will be having at problems. This corsair is barely breaking a sweat at 155 fsb. :D

I'll keep everyone posted!

lol

Well, it wouldn't get into windows at 2015 MHz... too bad.. :(

I even raised the voltage to 1.75v, nothin. Kept freezing seconds after the XP Pro screen. Would a fresh install help? I'm thinkin its just the AMD761 chipset. It just can't do anything higher than 150. I'm at 150 right now. I got into windows, and am running FAH to check my load temps. That's 1.95 GHz at 1.7v. Current temp, 113F. Is that too hot for a tbred? This temp sensor is the kind BELOW the processor, and it actually touches the processor. My last tbird at 1.43GHz ran at 123 F at load. So, this is quite a bit cooler. ;) My case temp is at 84 F right now. I usually got it at 75. But, my damn room is so hot! My parents won't turn on the airconditioner! :-\

I'm going to try 151-154 and see if they boot. In just a bit, I'm going to run 3dmark. ;)
