and still no damn active heatsink on the northbridge bah! it should at least have all the bugs and kinks worked out of it though

I dont use active heatsinks on any of my north bridges. the slk800 has enough fan over hang to easly cool any chipset. as long as it is a quality heatsink.

ya i noticed once i went from the slk800 to the water cooling my NB got hot as hell. fixed that buy putting a fan in the side of my window that blows on it and the vid card... case temps which i think are measured right by the nb somewhere dropped 12f with the side fan... but the air out of the back wasn't any cooler than it was before... go figure

I just got the
Asus A7N8X Deluxe and it supports the 400 FSB as well ( the box says 333, but the v2.0 was in the box
)
