tell me what you think! base of this is 2MM thick, and is housed in an .5" finned aluminum casing.

kinda hard to make sence outta it......
but I dont think its a good idea of have it kind of like a collection pool. fast in fast out seems to yeild the best results that ive seen. I think that if you leave the hot water in there, it kinda creates an insulating effect and makes all that water comming in to heat up quicker.

... my design is the one on the right. with the fins all over it. BTW, I also thought some more, and covering the aluminum casing in small fins would also help with the heat, andthing the small fins can't take the water will. double action going on there, with the heatsink and watercooling :-D

I think the best design would be to have the water enter the middle and leave out the left AND right sides. And inside the waterblock I would have it look liek a little heatsink with lots of little find like an alpha Cut down. Havent seen one done to my liking that is why I havent gone water.

Nexus_7, I never thought about that, mind if i steal it? I am looking for a machinest to make a couple of them for me, then I'm going to test them out, possibly write a review and sell a couple on the fourms if they are good enough, anyone here a machinest?

you will need to sell it with a Y converter. the one in has to be fatter then the 2 out ofcourse and there are other ideas I have along this stuff also. Maybe don't make it square, make it a rectangle that way you have less water pooling in the corners or even make the center have a slightly thicker and have it taper down. kind of like the middle is a peak and the 2 sides the vally. still using the heatsink idea.

I've been talking with pugsly on AIM, he says he knows about mass production, so i probably can get a bunch made through him. but we need about 10 for me to test, and distrubute among all of you watercoolers here. nexus_7 your entitled to one. I am going to see if i can finish the blueprint and all the details at school by the end of the week, perhaps I will be able to get a couple made soon.

I've also got an idea for a really good rad. similar type cooling. it would come with a 4000RPM 120MM fan, and a RPM adjuster. it wouldn't be record breaking small, but it should kick out the heat off like nobody's buisness. it would be made so that it takes 1/2" copper tubing, and then once it hits the aluminum fins the 1/2" is split up, into smaller, 1/8" tubes, and will zigzag through these tubes in the rad's fins about 8 times, then exit to be heated again.

I think it would be a great design. maybe it has been tried and it doesnt work...I dont know but I have never seen one FS.

I think another great design would be having a quality water block with high quality fins or studs on it with minor air cooling. so it would have a Thick base but it would be basicaly hollow and then have a semi normal heatsink look on the top. where you can have a LOW LOW noise fan on it if you want.

so now you will probably make 2 million on all my ideas.
