I Need Help Tweaking

This is puzzling me... First i had a AMD Athlon XP 1900+ 1.6GHz and an Abit KR7A-133. I was getting a 3dmark2001 score of around 7200 (see my specs in signature). Then i decided it was time to upgrade so i got an AMD Athlon XP 2400+. I was getting a 3dmark2001 score of around 8500 with that KT266 motherboard. It was locking up and becoming unstable so i got a new motherboard (Abit NF7 nForce 2 KT400) and that solved the locking up problems. But, when i first ran 3dmark2001 i got a score of around 6500. Then i overclocked it to 2.2GHz (16.5*133) and got about 6700. I know my video card and ram is holding me back, but if anything, my score should have gone up, not down. Anyone know why this is happening and a way to solve it? I'm sure there must be something in the bios i am overlooking. My ram isn't great... think it could run a memory timing of 5-2-2-2? It is 6-3-3-2.5 or something now. Anyone know any good performance tweaks? Thanks.
P.S. Overclocking with this CPU / motherboard combination is great. I haven't touched the FSB yet, because i doubt my ram will hold up. But i have a 200MHz overclock so far, without even changing the vcore and it idles around 30C. In SiSoft Sandra, i have passed the rating on the XP 2800+ and kicked the sh!t out of the 2.66GHz P4. Having an automatically unlocked CPU is fun. I intend to get some nice PC3200 COrsair or something soon, and put the FSB to 200MHz while comprimizing the multiplier, but the stuff is too expensive right now, and PC2700 costs practically nothing!

Just made a weird discovery... PCMark2002 claims i am running at AGP 1X, even though 4X AGP is clearly selected in the bios...

BTW, I saw your comp. spec... You got the same heatsink as me and the same CPU...
What are your temps and how do you monitor it??? I get like 3 different temps, dont know witch one is right!
Sorry, this is off topic

First off, i'd like i say i fixed the main problem... I didn't install the nForce 2 driver!!! Brought my 3dmark2001 score from 6800 to 9650... along with some video card overclocking. My Geforce 3 Ti500 has a default of 240/500. It seems pretty stable at 260/525... i'm not asking for a miracle, but this seems to be helping my frame rate (once was 125 tops in 3dmark2001, now 275 tops).
My temps are very good. Here they are:
CPU low idle: 29.5C
CPU current idle: 32.5C
CPU high idle: 32.5C
CPU 100%: 35C
System low: 21C
System current: 23C
System high: 23C
No, i don't have super cooling. Just a SK7 w/ a 50CFM fan (about 40dba). I am also overlocked to 2.2GHz (16.5*133) at default 1.65V Vcore. I have latest bios. I know the temperature monitor isn't off because i also used a CompuNurse on it... same results. Good ol' Tbred B
