I killed off a good part of my system and need to buy a new cpu asap. My last one was an XP 1800+. My goal is to keep this one for awhile. Here are my questions:
1. I do not overclock. How much difference will I see between an 1800, 2000, 2200, 2400? The new mobo I bought will handle all. Where does price vs value become a losing proposition?
2. As I said, I want to hold onto this system for awhile. I currently have 512 PC 2100 RAM that works fine. While I'm changing things, is an upgrade to PC 2700 or 3300 worth it?

you'll see a difference in a 2400+ as far as pc2700 or 3200 if you don't plan on running a FSB of 166 or 200 its not needed.
