Newb question....

Hey guys. Planning on getting a 2.0 P4 in the near future, and I was thinking about bumping it up a little bit. I was figuring I'd need a new heatsink/fan combo to put on it, but I don't want anything raucously loud. If you have had any personal experiences you could relate on the matter, it would be appreciated!

pretty much depends on how much of a bump you're planning - the retail units is pretty good and should hold you to about 2.2 with arctic silver or similar - beyond that check out some of the hsf reviews here at PCA - i'm currently running a 1.6a @ 2.2 with a regular dr thermal and predator has been using a dr thermal extreme which has a bigger fan - i'm sure some other peeps will jump in here as well
