CPU Temps getting warmer...

Post by matt719 »

Hey, I've having this problem that i had with my last heatsink too... For the first week or two the temps were great, but then the temperatures slowly get higher and higher. It was idling at about 36C before, and now it's idling at 42C... wtf??? The only things i cna think of that i put too little Arctic Alumina on and it burnt right through it or dust maybe? Has anyone have a similar problem?

I've had that problem. Try reapplying your paste, in a thin even coat.
