Here are some pics of my old de-capped K6-2 500MHz CPU.
Some of you may remember the thread I posted a while ago concerning this.
Well, here's the proof!!
De-Capped
You can't really see any damage apart from some scoring on the surface where I was a bit too heavy handed with the knife.
I discovered afterwards that the reason I managed to cook it good and proper was because I didn't have the HSF properly seated on to the core.
Another lesson learned....
