It does look interesting and like a taller version of the sk6 gojng by the way it looks. And with a 3-prong clip finally. I'm curious if it's all one piece or if the fiins are soldered to the bottom as with the sk6.

Weird, it won't let me link the image.

I just checked out Thermalright's site that cooler is meant for the P4 doesent say anything about AMD chips. I think it is the AX-7 made for the P4

Yeah I was looking at teh AX-478 but the SLK 600 has been around since before the AX-7 so I am suprised that you have not tried it yet.

Greg's right i read about this sink in a review about a month ago but it just finally got released. Is interesting. I'd like to grab a AX7 and a nice quiet 80mm fan and put on my XP.

I still think my volcano2 fan is quieter then the panaflo I have on my ax-7...I need a new cpu also...any doners out there? ;)

Actually, if I take off the grill I have on my ax-7 I might get less noise, Ill try that first....still want one of these, jsut dont need it. :)

For you P4 socket 478 people the Ax-478 is a really good heatsink!

I tested one a short time ago and Almost decided to use it over my watercooling setup......key word is almost ;)

From what I've heard, the AX7 is a better bet because of its larger fan.
