Asus P4T-E
Intel P4 2.0A Northwood
256 MB RAMBUS
TNT2 Ultra (diamond viper v770 ultra)
Maxtor 40gig
I have the default hsf on it and just tried to overclock it some to see where it would go and the most i could get out of it was 2.2gHz with the ram in 4x mode (440mHz). I honestly have no idea how much i should be able to overclock it. And yes, I know that my vid card is really old. I'm getting a new one soon, but this thing still runs games at normal settings in 1024x768, so it's hard to let go of. Thanks.

How much should i be able to overclock?
If your going for overclocking should have went with a DDR motherboard and some DDR ram... From what i've read that rambus doesn't overclock worth a damn and is pretty sensitive... I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't get that much out of the 2.0a anyways... the 1.6a's are hitting 2.2 - 2.4 gig and i'm sure all of them are the same stepping.
yea, unfortunatly my esp wasn't working right and i didn't know the 1.6a would be that dominant (it didn't even exsist yet) when i got the 2.0a. I'm not all that worried about overclocking too much. I was just curious mostly. My friend wants me to tell him what to buy and i'm recommending a 1.6a with a sis645 333mhz mobo. oh well. i'll get over it.
