Hey guys. I currently have 4 case fans humming away and it's a little noisy at night...
I was thinking i'd try putting a vaccuum hose out my window and blasting some of that winter air into my case with a single fan. I'm thinking that an 80 mm fan at one end might cool as well as the 4 150 mm fans. I know I'll have to suffer through the noise in the summer.
What do people think? Do you have any suggestions?

If all you are worried about is noise, you should get what is called a baybus. Go here to check 'em out. It's just a 5.5 bay panel that has switches on it so that you can controll your fans (turn them off, slow then down, keep them at default speed)
I have one similar to those shown at the website and I just turn my fans down so they are runnging at 7V and that cuts down on the noise considerably (I have about as many fans as you do). They are pretty cheap and look cool too

Hey thanks for the idea! I took a quick peek, but I'll get a better look later. I'm afraid though that things are running hot as it is (PIII 750 @ 900, peek 43 degrees). Maybe I'll clock her down at night too.

Why not just take your pc outside with a lawn chair in the winter? haha
sorry couldn't resist.
I have 3 fans in mine and 1 is a gamma 28 blower but I don't find it that noisy, I guess it's cuz my kids always have the TV beside it turned up so darn loud !
lol
