what is the decent tempature level for overclocked cpu

i have a 1.0ghzcpu@1.2ghz myl tempature for cpu is 28 celsius and faranheit is 87 degrees faranheit is this safe level or should i turn down the juice on cpu.

That temp sounds pretty good to me... A lot cooler than most run... My 1.33@1.6 is running 110 F under a full load and 98F at idle. I think i'd turn up the juice on that and try to squeeze out 1.4 :)

Sweet!!!! I would love to get those temps. :) My t-bird 1.33@1.33 runs hotter than predator's, no one will ever know why. :P

You can try turning down the voltage still. It's hit and miss. Some will run at default, some will run at 1.85v. Maybe you got lucky and can run it at default.

I am asking cause every time i overclock above 1.2 ghz my computer resets itself or gives me error problems. THE CPU IS INTEL III NOT AMD

That would explain the low temps then... IF you have a P3 1.0 at 1.2 you are lucky... Keep it right where its at and enjoy! :)

when i was oc intel my dual setup froze when i reached 38 degree on one of the prosessors, the other could go behind 40, so try lover the voltage a bit or up the cooling
