Fastest CPU for my BX6 v2???

Hey guys, I'm trying to decide on what to do for my VCD system. Right now it's a P3-500 and it takes way too long to convert movies to VCD. I was going to upgrade everything to a nice AMD XP setup, but am wondering what's the fastest cpu I can throw into this BX6 v2? Would be alot easier to just pop a new cpu in there.

Thanks,
Top

Yeah, old news I guess. I just popped a 700@933 in my BX6v2 last night. Runs great.

Cool :)

VCD's any good? I been trying hard to make divx movies but either the sound is not synced right or the picture is screwed up, always.

Blade, I'm literally going nuts over here. I did about 5 movies and they all turned out great. The last 4 I've tried everything I can possibly think and I can't keep the audio synced up either. I am about to lose it. The new cpu makes bad movies alot faster now though :) I've been at VCDHelp.com for weeks trying to figure this out. Maybe I need to actually purchase a program that will do this the right way. Oh, speaking of, let me know if you need anything. New connection ;)
