The wife thinks I am crazy. I ran a 4" dryer vent from the basement window to the case fan on the side of my PC. Due to the high humidity over night, I pull the vent out of the window and let it draw a mixture of room air and outside air.

System temp 30ºC/86ºF

With the duct connected :
At time of post 10ºC/50ºF air intake
System temp 28ºC/82ºF
CPU:
No load 34ºC/93ºF
Full load 37ºC/99ºF
If you used pvc piping, instead of the flexible stuff, your cooling would be more efficient. what you could do is install ball valves to close the flow from the basement, and another to open to the air in your room too.
