I'm looking for a new soundcard. Currently i'm running a BX system with Win2k SP2, and will change to a AMD system when i can afford it. I will continue to use Win2k though.

I'm thinkin of Live!/Audigy or FortissimoII, but it seems that there are some issues with all of them... either depending on the system or the OS.
What soundcard is there to recommend??

I had some troubles with a live in win2k, took awhile but they cropped up with no fix. I have a herules gxp now and it works like a charm running win2k, amd, etc..

The gxp is too expencive... Audigy too... but Live! 5.1 and the fortissimoII is in the right range...
