Somebody pleeeeeze help me . I have built 3 systems lately with VIA chipsets . One was a Soyo , one a MSI , and the other a Giga-byte . All 3 run fine , but when they go to sleep mode , they will not wake up . You have to reboot . I know this is just a bios setting , but I can not figure out what the bios setting should be to allow the wake up .

I had that problem with my system (abit ka7 w/athlon 700) when I was using Win98SE. When I switched to WinME, the problem went away. I am now back to Win98SE though. What I would do (which is what I have done) is just disallow it from going into sleep mode. I hate having to restart when I don't have to

I've had this problem too. It was caused by the power management in the OS. This has occured on both Intel and AMD systems as well as Intel And VIA chipsets so I think it is pretty common. Just play with your power settings in the control panel and it will probably go away.
