Don't have a web site of my own, and would like to share something with you good people.
I have spent some time messing with ways to Round IDE cables...and SCSI ribbon cable abd also PSU cables!

I have sussed it, and its cheap as hell......it will help you ALL.

I have written it up into a Word Document and posted it to my local UK website , but so far thay haven't used it.

I know everyone here takes each other quite seriously, and so I hope to be able to help you all out. My case is so tidy inside it hurts to NOT show you all. The case temps are better, and my fans are quiter cos there is less turbulence.

My friend Chris U.K has seen the lots, via email and is jealous as hell, because it works so well.

I am cack at posting pictures so if someone could help me....I could email them, either in the word document or just individually.

Imagine all your cables tidy......really tidy! Cool? Well yeah, literally?

Thread Editied my Zak33 because the Pics are now Posted (thanks man) below!
Hope they help people..try it, it does no damage, and if you don't like it, then you can remove it!

mailed em to Sethpa.........top man is gonna post them for me!
Cheers Nascar Fool..thanks for being there.

It works like this.......I work in the motor car trade........and I got me a few meters of different diameter car cooling system hose (goes to the radiator etc)....rubber tube effectively..real strong (DO NOT USE METAL REINFORCED!)

It holds shape real well..........so I slitted it along its length......cut it to length of my SCSI ribbon cable, and then folded the full length of my SCSI cable into one third of its normal width........but like that it looks untidy, and bends badly. Then I put the SCSI cable into the full length of the rubber tubing, as near to the end plugs as possible, and then taped the whole thing back up. The pipe holds the cable in nice curves, and stops it from kinking.

It also works REAL well on the PSU cables........especially the big mother that goes to the mobo........that is normally a real mess. It all went into one length.

And the other bits...well you can build your PC first, get all the cable in and working..........then cut hose to the right length......slit it, then fit it "in situ" and tape it up there, in place!

Made a WORLD of difference to my PC...how do I know? Case temps dropped by 5 degrees from the nightmare cable jungle I had before...and I can feel a substantially larger volume of air coming out of the fan at the top rear...the air flow is MUCH higher

And the fan at the front lower, sucking in, is under less duress........I can hear it is working better, its quieter.

Would never have believed it if not experienced it.

Try it, and mail me with any questions....glad to help if I can :)

Wow that case looks so nice inside. It has put me to shame. So now I have a good weekend progect getting mine to look nice. I have an Antec SX830 and already have rounded cables but it has gotten kind of messy. Before the weekend is over it is going to look good.

Man your rig looks 20x better than any of the ones I've built. Can I ship my comps to you in the UK and have you send 'em back for 20 bucks? I'd let you cover shipping ;)

That's it people...........

Hey.............a good weekend project for me would be to tidy up the ROOM my PC is in..........forget the PC, I DON'T HAVE ANY AIRFLOW because of the mess in here! ;)
