well, my bro just won a cs competition and we have loads of cash to upgrade our computer. wt's the best the market has for us now?? =)

For pure performance, a 1.4 gig Tbird and DDR mobo. Starting to see lots of variations and chipsets, but seems the AMD 761 chipset is the one that works the best. Have to just choose the one that tickles your whatever :)

buy abit vp6 it is kool mobo and plus its pretty affordable its only 125 dollars you get every band for your bang

Athlon XP 1800+ (1.53 GHz part) and a KT266A chipset mobo. Might be a week or two before you see the KT266A's so that might not qualify for your "now" criteria but I think it would be worth the wait.

One is already out. MSI K7T266Pro2-RU ( what a mouthful !) and the Abit KR7-RAID will be out shortly, both based on the KT266A chipset. Here's some info on the chipset.......
