Seem to have a problem here

Hey guys,
I'm running windows 2000, and for some reason my 3d games lock up on me. My friends say it's an overheating problem. I've got a tbird 900 (non overclocked) and i'm using the default heatsink - fan that came with my system along with that sticker that came with it (the heat transfer thing). Friends say i should buy that arctic silver stuff but i have no idea how to use it.
Here are my temps.
Right now my processor is 129 F
MotherBoard Temp is 107.
The highest I've seen the processor get is 154 (that's before the game locks)
My friends also say i should turn my chassis fan around to blow cool air in (currently i have no fans blowing air in).... but when i try to do that, it can't connect to the case like it does when it's blowing air out. I see a perforated area in the back where i think a fan could go.. but i wouldn't know what to order. I'm totally new to this building computer stuff... and this is my first summer with this new computer. I think the hot weather may be getting to it.
Somebody please help! I don't want to loose this computer for something so trivial as heat.
Thanx
Mike
