Maybe.. Hmmmmm.. Ok Guys. It seems like it was only locking up as soon as it went to start folding w/the GUI... So, should I switch to the cmd line version and see what happens? I've got high hopes for this chip.. it's at 11.5x189 I'm gonna try the over version with some of the other settings and see what happens.. eGo

Well, I had a little "fiasco" last night and thought i'd fried the board.. lol.. Turned out the CMOS jumper was just in the wrong spot. So, right now it's at 11.5x186 2.04ghz I'm just gonna take it slow like you are and see where it leads me. Temps reading at 37*C I don't think that's too shabby for a Zalman 6000cu lol.. I'll update it every few days.. This PC hauls ass as it is.. Folded one of those 2500 WU's in about 20 hours.. he he.. Watch out peoples! I've got 3 boxes above 1Ghz now, and two that aren't 830mhz and 900mhz.. HE HE HE!!! eGo

That darn CMOS jumper ... I've done that more than a few times myself and then I catch it and say to myself...."You Idiot"!! Sounds like you are Cruising along nicely so far ,I bumped up to up to 11.5 X 198 today so far so good on the Barton , try to hit the 200 tomorrow . temps are looking good so far for you ,What voltage are you running thru the processor? I also noticed that I knocked off nearly 2 minutes off each folding unit going from 195 fsb to 198 fsb must be I hit a sweet spot , well keep us all informed .............

Updates..

Post by eGoCeNTRoNiX »

Ok Guys.. Been stepping it up a little day by day.. Right now i'm at 11x191 or 2101mhz.. Not bad at all.. Maintaining temps of 35.5* Idle and up to 39* Load depending on room temp. Though it's normally 70* in here. Just wait to see my temps this winter since I don't use heaters.. he he he.. I'll post again in a few days.. eGo

You can't check the steppings without removing the HSF AFAIK.. I know that it would be very difficult for you to get a TBred A to those speeds.. GL eGO
