I was given a Athlon Classic 950 and a T-Bird 900 (both slot) and I bought a board, which would you keep? I'm currently running the t-bird, but the classic actually seems to outperform it.

Keep the one that gives you better performance. You may want to check their fps in games and then decide. If you play any games.

I'd keep the Bird... The cache on the classic is cut back while the bird is running at full processor speed... 50mhz isn't that much of a noticable difference anymore.

good point, but in things like RC5 it is a little faster.
although the bird seems to run cooler.
