Athlon 1600+ or 1700+ is there much difference?

Got a nice little stocking stuffer and decided to buy a new XP processor. Can only afford a 1600+ or 1700+. I'm trying to find one that is already unlocked if anyone has one FS. My bank is $150 (including cooler). Is there a significant performance increase with the 1700+? LMK! Thanks,

humm well... i have the 1600+ and havent tested the 1700+... but one is 1400MHz and the other 1466MHz.... how big diff is that? Not much... 4.7% faster teoretically...

I didnt want to pay $25 for that little.
