Iwill DVD266-R.....OC'in limitations with SMP?

Post by Velicos »

I've tried it all with this BIOS, it has EVERYTHING but I cant get my
DUAL P3-667's above 770mhz. SMP causing this because maybe CPU1 needs more voltage
than CPU0? Maybe but there is no way for me to change it. I run them at 1.7v but I've
tried 1.65-1.8volts trying to see if i can get over the 152mhz FSB. It will go up to 200mhz
but Win2k will crash anything over 152@770mhz. I have Micron 256mb PC2100 DDR memory
and have tried all of the timing settings and CLS settings (3 or 2). But damn If i crank memory
memory this DDR flies! It even beat Rambus in SiSofts markings with a 150mhz FSB/2/and
timing at the max setting, over 600meg/sec approximately. Any have ideas? I've tried lowering
the AGP bus even but nothing works. Any advice, im geting two P3-800's which I should have
better luck with, these 133 based procs are killing me and I think thats why.
