Hello all I got a P3 750 on Friday and have been steadaly bumping it up this weekend.. Right now it is at 930Mhz with the vcore set at 1.70 default is 1.65. I really would like to get 1gig out of it or at least as close as I can. My question is how high do I dare bump the vcore I really don't want to damage the chip. Temps are 32-35c with SETI running. System specs are below

Asus P3V4X
P3 750@930 vcore 1.70 Global Win VOS-32
GeForce GTS
SB Live
IBm 75GXP 20 gig
Antec Sx830

1.85 V is the highest I would go dad. Try 1.75V and then 1.80V and see what the result is.

i've run my 800e up to 1.9 in my quest for 1 gig, but backed it down to 1.8 for regular - voltage=heat and as long as your dancin' in the 30's you shouldn't have naything to worry about. check the database at overclockers com and see what other people have done with the same stepping - this 800e maxes at 992 but will only run fancy benchmaorks, etc at 960

Thanks guys that is what I needed to know I get nervous raising the voltage. Right now I am set at 1.75 in bios and Asus Probe shows 1.776 and clocked at 930 Mhz. Tmeps are 35-37c with SETI running. Sure wish I could get it to run on a FSB of 133Mhz but I am getting doubtful of that. Thanks again
