my abit kr7a -just burned out its #1 memory slot glad last 3 slots still work .but for how long ?
anyway
im going to have to replace this one :(
and the new board will have to have .
1- 4 memory slots ddr ram
2 - 6 pci slots
3 -1 agp slots
4 - onboard sound be nice -but not really needed
5- onboard nic -ok but not needed
6 -4-6 usb ports ! 6 would be nice !
also must run athlon xp

im only going to need this till summer i think !
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me. :help

by the way for what do you need 4 memory slots ddr ram ? you can even plug 3 GB total 1GB each stick do you need more than that?

Doesn't have 4 DIMM slots or 6 PCI slots either tho. Not sure why you'd need all dat ( ??? )
